Neighbourhood Management Services works closely with many other areas of the council who deliver highways and environment related services. 

Highways Maintenance

The Highway Maintenance Service maintains and upkeeps:

  • adopted roads and footways;
  • highway drainage; 
  • winter maintenance;
  • monitoring public utilities reinstatements;
  • street furniture, etc.

Street Cleansing and Fly Tipping

The Street Cleansing Service carries out day to day cleansing needs of the city.  This includes:

  • street sweeping;
  • litter bin emptying; 
  • gully cleansing; 
  • fly-tipping (wasteland dumping), and so on.         

Refuse Collection & Trade Waste
