Public protection
Public Protection is made up of three areas:

Environmental Health which deals with food safety, private sector housing, health and safety at work, pest control and pollution.

Trading Standards which deals with all aspects of fair and safe trading.

Emergency Planning which supports the city council to plan for, and respond to any major incident in the city.
