Corporate Access Group (CAG)

The council has set up a Corporate Access Group (CAG) which meets approximately every 6 weeks.  The group, Chaired by Councillor Peter Millea, Executive Member, Assets & Development, was set up as a communication and consultation forum on environmental access issues, and is made up of people from community organisations for and of disabled people, and council officers.  The group enables disabled people to directly engage with council officers and contract developers in order to influence design and implementation of major regeneration projects in the city.  Minutes from the meetings are available to view on line:
