DLF Database
The centre has access to information on many thousands of products and services to assist disabled people and their carers. The centre uses The Disabled Living Foundations database, which is updated regularly.
Until recently the DLF's database of equipment has only been available on subscription. LDLC is a subscriber and so has access to information on over 20,000 products.
The DLF has recently launched a campaign to make its database of equipment for older and disabled people freely available for public use over the internet so you can now access one of the sections of the database "Bathing made easy" by visiting www.bathingmadeeasy.com
DLF Fact Sheets
The centre has a wide range of fact sheets available, published by The Disabled Living Foundation.
These cover many topics, from 'Finding suitable footwear', to 'Choosing a mobile hoist' for example. For a full list or for further details please contact the centre or visit www.dlf.org.uk.
