Leighton Dene
The Leighton Dene Rehabilitation Unit is designed and equipped to accommodate twelve people. Based in Long Lane, Fazakerley, the unit is close to a wide range of local facilities including shops, churches, social clubs and cinemas.
It is easily accessible by public transport and on-site parking is available for visitors.
The rehabilitation unit contains the following:
- comfortably furnished lounges with television, video and hi-fi equipment
- dining rooms and fully equipped kitchens
- utility rooms with a washing machine and dryer
- an emergency call system fitted into every room
- visits from a qualified hairdresser at least once a week
- a visiting aromatherapy / massage service, fortnightly
- pleasant gardens where people can sit or walk in fine weather
24-hour cover is provided from a highly-motivated and skilled care team, including staff specially trained for work in the rehabilitation units.
