If you visit the dentist or the optician there are charges for your treatment. The NHS also makes a charge for prescritions for medicines.
However depending on your circumstance you may be able to receive help with these costs (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).
Your dentist or optician or pharmacist can advise you if may be entitled to help with the costs .
