Liverpool City Council - rent officer

Rent Officer

If you are renting from a Landlord other than the Council or a Housing Association, we have to ask the Rent Officer if the rent you are paying is reasonable.

The Rent Officer will tell us how much rent your accommodation is worth, and what the typical rent is for the same type of property in your area. We use the figures given to us by the Rent Officer to work out your benefit.
