60 or over

If you have retired you may be entitled to:

• State and Occupational Retirement Pension           

If you are on a low income you may be entitled to:

• Pension Credit
• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefit
• Social Fund payments 
• Health Benefits           

If you suffer health problems or disabilities you may be entitled to:

• Attendance Allowance if you are aged 65 or over or Disability Living Allowance if you are under 65
  
• An increase of any existing award of Disability Living Allowance           

If you look after someone with an illness or disability you may be entitled to:

• Carer's Allowance            

You may also be entitled to the following benefits:

• Council Tax Discounts
  
• Council Tax Disabled Relief
  
• Other local authority payments
  
• Other sources of help and advice
