Under 60 responsible for dependent children or you are pregnant or planning to adopt

If you are responsible for dependent children you may be entitled to:

• Child Benefit/Guardian's Allowance
  
• Child Tax Credit      

If you or your partner are employed and you are expecting a baby, or you are planning to adopt you may be entitled to:

• Maternity/Paternity/Adoption payments      

If you are on a low income you may be entitled to:

• Income Support
  
• Job Seeker's Allowance
  
• Housing Benefit
  
• Council Tax Benefit
  
• Health Benefits
  
• Social Fund payments
  

You may also be entitled to:

• Council Tax Discounts
  
• Other local authority payments 
  
• Other sources of help and advice
