Older Peoples Services
Community Services, Adult Social Care provides support, advice and information for older people in Liverpool.
We are committed to providing services that meet the needs of people aged 50 plus. To help us do this we have produced a new Older Peoples Strategy. The strategy outlines how we are going to work with local health authority to provides the services that you want.
We have also produced a joint commissioning strategy which shows how we intend to provide these services.
Both of these strategies were created with the help of Older People through consultation and by working with older people's reference groups.

Older people's reference group
The Older People's Reference Group is a panel of local residents (aged 50+) who are regularly asked what they think about the quality of local services and how they are delivered to them. They act as a consultative body to the Primary Care Trust, City Council's Adult Social Care Department and the voluntary sector. Thier views are fed into Liverpool's Joint Commissioning Group for Older People and are used to help plan, prioritise and improve delivery of services to older people in the City.
You can also find out more about the services we offer by viewing our to care for adults webpage.
