Liverpool City Council - child protection

Child Protection

The Liverpool Safeguarding Children Board  (LSCB) is an inter-agency forum established to ensure that different services and professional groups co-operate effectively to safeguard children in Liverpool.

We will ensure that all children in Liverpool grow up safely, with their families wherever possible, in their own community and enjoy the best possible health, education, leisure, culture and employment and develop to their maximum potential.

The work of the LSCB is monitored by the Children and Families Strategic Partnership (CFSP) - a multi-agency group chaired by the Chief Executive of North Liverpool PCT.

If you have a concern about a child which you wish to discuss please contact:

  • Careline Children's Service on 0151 233 3700.
  • Merseyside police on 999 or 0151 709 6010.

More information about the LSCB can be found at www.safeguardingchildrenboard.liverpool.gov.uk.
