Integrated Children's Service (ICS)
The Integrated Children's Service is a multi-agency service that acts as a single point of access to all services for children and families within the City of Liverpool.
The Integrated Children's Service:
- Responds to enquiries from children, families and professionals.
- Provides a single point for receiving and generating referrals for services for children.
- Manages the identification, referral and tracking of vulnerable children.
- Provides a contact point for fostering and adoption services.
Our work involves:
- Initial evaluation of user needs.
- Information and advice giving.
- Sign-posting for non-assessed services.
- Receiving and generating referrals.
- Professional consultation.
- Commission emergency and/or preventive services.
- Checking and collating information, through use of information systems and records.
