Liverpool's Homelessness Strategy
The Homelessness Act 2002 requires each local authority in England to publish a Homelessness Strategy.
After conducting an extensive review of our 2003 Homelessness Strategy and of the current nature and extent of homelessness in Liverpool A first draft of our review can be viewed here
.
We have also published our new homelessness strategy which can be viewed here.
This strategy represents how all stakeholders in Liverpool intend to tackle homelessness in the next three years.
Our vision is:
- To prevent homelessness whenever possible and where homelessness does occur, move people into settled homes as soon as possible.
We regularly monitor and update our action plan, the most recent version of the action plan can be viewed here.![(MS Word [316.5Kb] opens in new window)](/images/Word.gif)
