Liverpool's Homelessness Strategy

The Homelessness Act 2002 requires each local authority in England to publish a Homelessness Strategy.

We have published our new homelessness strategy which can be viewed here.  (PDF [2.5Mb] opens in new window) This strategy represents how all stakeholders in Liverpool intend to tackle homelessness in the next three years.
Our vision is:

  • To prevent homelessness whenever possible and where homelessness does occur, move people into settled homes as soon as possible.

We regularly monitor and update our action plan, the most recent version of which can be viewed here.  (MS Word [428Kb] opens in new window)We also produce a quarterly update of our performance and our progress on the action plan which can be viewed here. (MS Word [179Kb] opens in new window)
