Job description:
The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a committed teacher with good special needs backgrounds. The successful candidates will be able to:
- Teach literacy and English up to GCSE level (including Entry Level standards) and will make a full contribution to a Key Skills Department which is overseen by a Faculty Head. This person will also take a lead in providing for Careers Education and Guidance at the school in partnership with the Head of Faculty for PSHCE.
The school is a recently merged school based in Aigburth. We provide for a secondary-ages pupils with complex needs(moderate learning difficulties with additional needs such as ADHD or Autistic Spectrum Disorders). We have a skilled and committed workforce that is determined to make a difference for vulnerable pupils.
