Work experience with Liverpool City Council
The City Council is working hard to make Liverpool once again a premier European city, providing the highest quality services to our diverse local community.
We are committed to fully supporting Liverpool Compacts Education Business Programmes, through providing wide ranging, interesting and enjoyable opportunities for school students. We will offer the chance to develop confidence, key skills and career ideas in a well planned and supportive environment.
In 2007, the city council offered in excess of 200 work placements and over the past three years over 500 young people from Liverpool have had their first experience of the world of work with us.
Please note that at present, placements are only available for Year 10 and 11 students who attend Liverpool schools.
