Lister Drive Community Library
The library is currently closed for safety reasons following an accident in December 2006.
Structural and specialist surveys have been carried out which show the building suffers from major structural defects.
As public and staff safety is paramount, the defects will need to be remedied to ensure the building is safe for public use and secure its long term future.
Cost estimates for the works required indicate that considerable investment will be needed to rectify the defects.
Options available are currently being explored.
Nearest Libraries are Old Swan Library and Larkhill Library.
