Liverpool City Council - Liverpool in Print

Liverpool in Print

Liverpool in Print is a joint project between the Liverpool Record Office and the School of History, University of Liverpool. It is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Liverpool in Print builds on the collaboration that produced the major anniversary history, Liverpool 800: Culture, Character and History, edited by John Belchem in 2006.

The project has two main aims:

Liverpool in Print is directed by John Belchem, Professor of History, and David Stoker, Manager of Liverpool Record Office. The project team currently consists of Andrew Cheney (Catalogue Editor), Graeme Milne (Research Editor), and the data-entry staff who are building the catalogue, Paul Bruce, Jeanette Fry, Bernadette Kay and Helen Pickavance.

The catalogue and the reading guides will be expanded until the project is completed in 2009. They will then remain available indefinitely as the key resource for anyone researching Liverpool history.
