Liverpool City Council - broadway market

Broadway Market

Broadway Market

Broadway Market opened in 1971, and is one of two permanent indoor markets in Liverpool, the other is in St John's Precinct in the City Centre.

In 1995 a major fire in the market disrupted trade for a short time, but the market was completely refurbished and soon re-established itself as an essential part of local community shopping.

Many of Broadway market traders have been trading there since the original market opened; they are dedicated and loyal to the local community and welcoming to all shoppers and visitors.  There is a strong community feeling as you enter the market and you will find the locals chatting over lunch in the cafe.

Come and browse at your leisure at the wide variety of goods and produce available at   Broadway market, ranging from sports clothing, baby clothing and cosmetics to butchers and even carpets, all under one roof!

Broadway is situated in a busy shopping area where you'll find a supermarket, newsagents, florists and much more close by.
