Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust
Allerton Tower is the base for the Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust, who run an outdoor activities centre in the Park. Visitors can enjoy activities ranging from an aerial runway to camping either on site or at North Wales, the Lake District, Tawd Vale or Bispham Hall. They are also given the opportunity to test their skills on courses such as Rescue and Survival, Abseiling and Orienteering (see also our Activities page for a list of Parks and suggested activity).
At all times they will be guided and supervised by qualified, experienced staff. The younger participants can also benefit from our educational Nature Trails and Treasure Hunts. During the activities, the group may wish to relax and socialise at specially arranged barbecues.
