Otterspool Park and Promenade
Parks and Environment working with Mersey Waterfront have completed a £1.75 million 'Pride in Our Proms' project for Otterspool Promenade. Phase one works have included; replacing the coastal walk/river railings; repairs to existing footpaths and car park surfacing; signage; new furniture (seats, bins, bollards and tables), addressing any current access issues; new Jericho Lane gateway, return of Sitting Bull and refurbishment of the Otters seating/viewing area as well as a new children's play area and fitness trail. A celebratory event was held in August, to be followed by the establishment of a Friends Group for Otterspool Park. If you are interested in joining please contact us.
