Liverpool has a fine tradition in the sport of track and field producing many outstanding athletes over the years including Olympians Curtis Robb, Steve Smith and Diane Allergreen.
The city has developed a unique partnership with the Liverpool Harriers, which is bearing fruit on a regular basis.
Wavertree Athletics Centre is the home of the Liverpool Harriers and also the base for the city's Athletics Development Office which is committed to organising a range of development activities from pace setters, cross countries to "startrack" courses.
