Swimming

Quite simply, Liverpool has the most successful Junior Swimming Development Programme in the United Kingdom.

The City of Liverpool Swimming Club has been National Speedo League Champions 8 out of the last 12 years, which is a phenomenal achievement. From Tadpole Galas to Masters Courses, the Development Programme caters for all ages and levels of ability and with a 50 metre pool planned for the year 2007, the future can only get brighter for a sport which has produced many outstanding achievers.

One of the sport's most recent successes is Stephen Parry, winner of the silver medal in the Manchester 2002 commonwealth games.  and young Fransesca Halsall The European Junior Champion and winner of 2 Silvers in Melbourne during the 2006 Commonwealth Games
