The Sport and Recreation Service
The Sport and Recreation Service offers:
- Sports development opportunities to all sectors of the community in a wide range of sporting choices from athletics to tennis
- a range of special sporting and cultural events through the sports events unit
- the management of the city's municipal golf courses,
allotments and public football pitches - A policy and development team which manages capital grants from the sports lottery fund and other agencies and on new leisure projects
- The Management and operation of the city's indoor Sports Centres, Swimming pools and Lifestyles Gyms
