Richard Farnell - Principal News Officer
Richard Farnell is Principal News Officer and also jointly responsible with Tom Farrell for the city centre and major projects.
Richard has over 20 years' experience in local government, working for a number of large metropolitan councils in the North West.
Before that he worked on a number of the region's newspapers, including editing a weekly newspaper in Lancashire.
He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Relations and has lectured at Salford University on Media Skills.
