Feelings of Safety consultation results
Perceptions of safety do not always mirror reality and fear of crime can be influenced by neighbours, friends, and messages portrayed in the media. These factors, and others, can also influence people's perceptions of levels of crime. If people feel crime levels have increased than their fear of crime is also likely to be higher.
Citysafe wants to tackle the fear of crime and increase feelings of safety.
We regularly undertake surveys to measure people's feeling of safety across Liverpool and within the city centre. The results of the most recent reports are available below.
