New Mersey Crossing
The Government has awarded £209 million to a project which will see a new bridge being built across the River Mersey between Runcorn and Widnes.
The new Mersey Gateway Bridge will help to reduce the traffic problems on the existing Silver Jubilee Bridge.
Halton Borough Council is leading this exciting project, with support from the Merseyside partners and Warrington Borough Council.
