Liverpool City Council - cycle parking

Cycle parking and bikes on trains

Cycle Parking

Liverpool City Council has a cycle parking scheme funded through the Merseyside Local Transport Plan.

This year cycle parking has been installed across the city centre.   Our new cycle map shows cycle parking in Liverpool.  Do you know somewhere that would benefit from cycle parking? Let us know! E-mail the Transport Policy Team at transport.policy@liverpool.gov.uk or call Liverpool Direct on 0151 233 3000.

Bikes on trains

If your journey is too far to cycle why not combine it with the train or ferry?  Bicycles are welcome on both, and with many stations having cycle parking you don't have to take your bike with you.

Bikes go free on Merseyside's trains and ferries although it is sensible to remember trains can be busy at peak times.  For details of services call Traveline on 0871 200 2233 or visit http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk.
