Verges
Long grass can become dangerous when it makes it difficult for drivers or pedestrians to see properly at bends and road junctions. It also looks untidy and makes it difficult for people to walk easily.
To make sure grass does not become overgrown we cut all our grass verges approximately every fortnight between March and October to keep the grass between 25mm and 75mm in length. We also cut the grass around trees, sign posts and lamp columns every four weeks.
