Comprehensive area assessment

What is it?

Comprehensive Area Assessments (CAAs) were abolished in June 2010.

They looked at how well local public services were delivering better results for people in the area.  Lots of evidence was used to judge how well things were going, and whether they would get better or worse in the future.

Results are publicly available on the One Place website. One Place provides independent information on local issues in England.
