Local area agreements (LAAs) are three year contracts between government and local authorities, which state how key priorities of local people are delivered within their neighbourhoods.
Liverpool’s local area agreement ‘Liverpool 2024: a thriving international city’, states how the city’s priorities will be achieved throughout 2009 to 2011.
The LAA for Liverpool will be delivered at a local level through documents known as neighbourhood area agreements.
Liverpool First will use the LAA to monitor delivery of our city vision contained in our long term plan, the sustainable community strategy.
Liverpool First is Liverpool’s local strategic partnership.
