Neighbourhood agreements

Neighbourhood area agreements (NAAs) are documents which set out how Liverpool’s local area agreement will be delivered.  They were developed following consultation, forum meetings and workshops with a range of people.

Aims of the area agreements

The aims of NAA are to:

  • Improve local service delivery and the quality of life for residents.
  • Identify areas that need priority action and target problems that need to be addressed.
  • Include a range of performance targets that need to be delivered that also allow us to monitor progress.
  • Allow partners and agencies to identify where they should invest their money to improve the area.
  • Identify how partners can work together to deliver better services.

Neighbourhood management areas

NAAs are unique to each of the five neighbourhood management areas that have been set up to improve the delivery of services across Liverpool. The areas are:

  • Alt Valley.
  • Liverpool East.
  • South Central.
  • South Liverpool.
  • City and North.

Each of the neighbourhood management areas ‘owns’ an NAA.  You can download these by visiting the Liverpool First website.
