Update (23.01.2012): The SPD has been withdrawn
The City Council, at its meeting on 18th January 2012, resolved to withdraw the New Housing Development Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
The New Housing Development SPD was adopted by the City Council in July 2005 to provide planning policy support to the Housing Market Renewal Initiative (HMRI) programme.
The New Housing Development SPD will no longer be used to assess and determine planning applications for new housing development, although please note, relevant policies within the Unitary Development Plan and other planning policy remain in operation.
