Cycling in Liverpool
Cycle Liverpool
The first edition of Liverpool's new cycle magazine is out now!
The biannual magazine is for everyone, from those who cycle regularly to those who are just thinking about starting to ride. It aims to keep you informed and updated on cycling Liverpool, with a range of information from the latest news, to staying safe on your bike, through to the routes you can try out at weekends with your family and friends. Cycle Liverpool is available from your local library, one stop shop or bike shop. Alternatively download the magazine here
or contact transport.policy@liverpool.gov.uk for your copy.

With flat terrain and low levels of car ownership, Liverpool is ideal for cycling. Cycling is a quick, healthy and pollution free form of transport.
The cycle routes go through beautiful Victorian Parks, the historic waterfront and also link to the National Cycle Network for routes to North Wales, Hull and beyond! We have a university route that links the city centre to the student halls and our most successful route yet - the Woolton Cycle Route.
The City Council works hard to promote cycling and make cycle routes better all over the City. In recent years we have doubled the number of cycle routes in the city and have added cycle parking to popular locations.
