Share your love of reading
Reading is a great way to meet people and share your love of books and reading.
Library reading groups
Reading groups at Liverpool libraries are friendly and relaxed with library staff facilitating but no single person leading the discussion. At each meeting the following month’s book is chosen. There is no specific type of book although literary fiction is predominant.
The following Liverpool libraries have a reading group. Click on an individual library to find out more.
Well Read project group
Well Read provides a range of books on mental health which are available to borrow at your local library. It’s open to everyone and aims to encourage people to help themselves to manage their mental health.
Many of the books are written by people who have experienced mental health problems and others are by psychologists and therapists. You can:
- Download the Well Read booklist.
- Reserve items online via the online library catalogue.
- Tell us how the project has helped you.
