How to access the catalogue
Anyone can access the catalogue to browse, but if you want to order or renew an item or check your current loans and charges, you must have a library card and pin number.
- If you have a library card but don’t know your pin, contact your nearest library.
- If you don’t have a library card but want to use the catalogue, join a Liverpool library.

Borrowing items
You can borrow a maximum of 20 items from up to:
- 14 books or spoken word CDs or cassettes.
- Six music CDs, videos or DVDs.
The loan period for books and spoken word items is 21 days, and seven days for music CDs, videos and DVDs.
Renewing items
You can:
- Renew online via the library catalogue. You will need your library card and pin number to log into your account.
- Renew your items by phone.
Charges
Remember, if you don't return or renew your books on time, you will need to pay a library charge.
