Am I eligible?
We can provide parking bays for blue badge holders who do not have a driveway and have difficulty parking outside their home.
Disabled Residents Parking Places (DRPPs) are free of charge, but applicants must meet certain criteria.
How to apply
All applications are assessed against our Disabled Residents Parking Place criteria, so please read this before applying. If you think you meet this criteria and want to apply for a bay:
- Download and read the Disabled Residents Parking Place criteria.
- Download and complete the DRPP application form.
Return completed forms to: Transportation, Regeneration, Municipal Buildings, Dale Street, L2 2DH.
Renewals
You must renew your bay permit every 3 years (as with your Blue Badge). To renew you can either:
- Take your permit to any One Stop Shop, along with your Blue Bage for reference; or
- Photcopy your Blue Badge and permit and post it to the address above.
