Insect picture by Pamela Cooke

On show in the Coach House Gallery at Calderstones Park until Sunday 23rd November, an exhibition by Pamela Cooke, 'Botanical, Bugs and Beetles'.  A body of work that provides an insight into the technique of Pointillism.  Each image is constructed solely of thousands of tiny dots.  The Independents strand of Liverpool Biennial gives artists and curators a chance to independently organise exhibitions.  Artist Pamela Cooke has her work on show as part of the Independents 08.  Come and see your favourite bugs and plants on show!  For details of other exhibitions in the Gallery and all our Park events please use the links below.

Croxteth Country Park's Christmas markets are an ideal way to combine a bit of Christmas shopping with an outing in the fresh air.  There are around forty stalls inside historic Croxteth Hall and Santa's Grotto on the Farm too.  More details on the Croxteth Country Park page.
