Certificates
Copies of Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates are available from the Register Office.
These have many day-to-day uses including:
- Applying for a passport.
- Seeking a student loan.
- Attaching to a CV.
- Making an insurance claim.
- Proving probate.
They are also much in demand by genealogists, probate solicitors and family history researchers.
Since June 2003 over 1,200,000 Liverpool Marriage Indexes (1875-1935) have been released on the Lancashire BMD web-site. To achieve this we have worked in partnership with the Manchester and Lancashire, and the Liverpool and South West Lancashire family history societies.
Access Lancashire BMD for full details of all available on-line Liverpool indexes.
