Once you register to use a children's centre you can take part in activities or use services across all centres in Liverpool. Register online or call in to your nearest centre.

Childcare

We deliver quality childcare within the early years foundation stage for children aged six weeks to five years. 

The nursery provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment, with learn through play and challenging activities.  We complete children’s assessments and progress records with input from parents and carers.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, 50 weeks per year and we offer full and part time places.  Please contact the centre for availability and fee information.

Free childcare provision

Other services and clinics

In addition to the activities and session above, we also provide the following:

  • Children's Information Service - Provides families looking for childcare with information about available childcare provision, help to return to work, training or further education.
  • Childminder Drop In - Wednesdays 9am to 10am at Lister Infants School.
  • Community Outreach Visits - Home visits by children centre staff to families in the area, providing information and support.
  • Early support with special educational needs - If you need advice and support about your child's development, behaviour, sleep pattern or any speech and language issues please contact Natalie on 233 3830.
  • FAG Ends stop smoking drop in service - At ABCC, Priory Road Office on Tuesdays at 10am. Call 0800 195 2131 for other venues.
  • Health Visitor Development Reviews - For babies aged 8 months. By appointment only on Thursdays at 9.30am to 11.30am.
  • Safe and Sound Home Safety Equipment - For families with children under 2 or pregnant and in receipt of the following benefits: Job Seekers Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Housing Benefit etc. Equipment can include safety gates, fire guards, cupboard locks, window restrictors etc. Visit the centre or contact 233 3830 to find out more or to see if you are eligible.
  • Physiotherapy Clinic - By appointment only on Mondays 9am to 1pm and Thursdays at 1pm to 4pm.
  • Toy library service - A wide range of educational resources for you to lend free of charge.

Parents Voices

Do you have something  you would like to say about what is needed for children under 5 in Tuebrook? Are you curious to hear more about what goes on in children's centres? If so, why not come along to Parents Voices.

It's the place where parents, carers and grandparents are able to influence decision making at your local children's centre to help make it a centre that meets the needs of your community.

Special events

  • Breast Feeding workshops: Thursdays 2pm-3pm, 17 April and 22 May. Breast feeding champion, Rosemary Hart, will be available to answer any questions you have about breastfeeding as well as giving support to help you continue.
  • Easter Holiday Activities for all the family: 2-13th April. To include Teddy Bears Picnic, Party in the Park (Newsham and Stanley Parks) and Going on a Bug Hunt.
  • Spring Health event: 24 April at Anfield Sports Centre, 1pm-3pm.
