Liverpool Cycle Routes

Liverpool City Council is working towards improving the cycle network.  The new Liverpool Cycle Map shows all of the City's cycle routes and suggests quieter routes to help you get around by bike.  Cycle maps are available in One Stop Shops, libraries, leisure centres, cycle shops and the 08 shop.  If you would like us to send you a free copy of the Liverpool Cycle Map, please contact Karen Stevens, Cycling Officer on 0151 233 2874 or email transport.policy@liverpool.gov.uk.  Don't forget to include your postal address!

Maps for all other areas of Merseyside are also available free from Travelwise Merseyside.

Please note that works are underway on a major refurbishment in the Liverpool Victorian Parks which affect the Trail through Sefton Park.  It is hoped that the majority of these works will be completed by the start of 2009.  When going towards Liverpool along Greenbank Lane, at the junction with the Sefton Park instead of going straight across you are directed left down to the Iron Bridge.  At the bridge go right, following the main path through the park.  You will pass the Palm House on your left.  Continue along this main path following the second left fork down to the Aviary Café were you meet up with the original route.  Details of the progress of the works in Sefton Park are available at www.liverpool.gov.uk/parks.
