Consultation on the removal of permitted development rights for Houses in Multiple Occupation in the Dales area, L15

Start date: 19th January 2018.
End date: 16th February 2018.

There is concern that there are too many Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) in the Dales area of Liverpool, L15, and that they could put pressure on the local environment and services. To address this concern, we are considering making an Article 4 Direction which would remove permitted development rights in the area so that anyone intending to change the use of a property from a family home to an HMO would need to apply for planning permission.

Consultation on the future of Lifestyles Everton Park Sports Centre

Start date: Monday 4th December 2017
End date: Monday 5th February 2018.

Following drastic cuts in government funding which mean that Liverpool City Council must save £90m over the next three years, £3 million of which must be cut from the sport and recreation service, we are considering transferring the management of Lifestyles Everton Park to another organisation.
