Coronavirus update - parks and play areas

All play areas, outdoor gyms and equipment are closed. Residents can continue to make use of the city’s parks for their once daily exercise, as long as they are alone or with members of their household.

    The council operates 43 outdoor play areas across the city. These are located in parks, recreation grounds and open spaces.

    We work in partnership with Mersey Forest to create woodlands to help people explore the nature on their doorstep.
