How to apply if your course needs a skills check

For some courses you must complete a skills check before you can apply. The course details will tell you if you need to arrange a skills check using the form below. These courses include:

• Beauty
• Digital and IT skills 
• Early years
• English
• ESOL
• GCSE
• Maths

If English is not your first language, please request an ESOL skills check not an English skills check.

Once we receive your skills check request, we'll get in touch before enrolling you on the course.

How to apply if your course does not need a skills check

If your course doesn't require a skills check, complete the application form below.

When you enrol, you will need to pay for your course or show proof that you are eligible for a fee remission. Find out how to pay.
